Bridges and underpasses at intersections on King Khaled street, King Abdulaziz street, King Fahd street and 42 street.
SOMAC’s work consisted of the procurement and construction of 3 bridges and 3 underpasses on King Khaled street, King Abdulaziz street, King Fahd street and 42 street. Scope covered all related construction works including, among others, site preparation, piling, foundations, piers, pier cap with formliners, abutments and retaining walls (up to 13m in height), precast girders (up to 18m long) including post-tensioning and grouting, cantilevers up to 4.25m each, precast barriers, expansion joints and elastomeric bearing pads, pot bearing pads, pump rooms, etc.
